Deniz Baykara (born 13 March 1984 in Bitlis) is a Turkish professional footballer. Baykara is a very gifted play-maker and surprises goaltenders with his deceptive shot. He is naturally left footed and can play as a midfielder. Currently without a team.
Baykara's career started in 1999, when he signed with Gaziosmanpaşaspor, an İstanbul team. He transferred to Skoda Xanthi in 2001 and was given the number 20 shirt where he played over 7 seasons.
On January 2008 transfer window, he transferred to B Division club Panserraikos F.C. from Serres, Macedonia in Greece and helped the team gain promotion to the Greek Superleague.
In the summer of 2009, he signed a 2-year contract with Second division club Panetolikos F.C.. He released from Panetolikos after the end of his contract.
